Elaine (Morris) Bouldin

Elaine Morris Bouldin, age 81 went home to be with her Lord on Monday April 22, 2024 at Stanley Total Living Center.  She was born in Rowan County, and was the daughter of the late Raymond Morris Sr., and Kathleen Dowell Morris.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter in law Patricia Bennett.  Elaine had a strong faith which led her to help others in need and always put other people before herself.  She loved her entire family, especially her grandkids.  In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, gardening, as well as spending time at the beach.  She enjoyed her career at the Gaston County Government at the Register of Deeds.  After her retirement, she went on to work at the Gaston County Senior Center where she loved being around people and she was always willing to help with games and activities.  

Those left to cherish her memory include her two children:  Russell Allen Bennett, and Darlene Carver (Larry).  Her grandchildren: Kathryn Cogar, Olivia Isphording (Brandon), and Joshua Bennett., and her brother Raymond Jesse Morris, Jr. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday April 28, 2024 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.  A service to celebrate her life will follow in the Woodlawn Chapel at 2:00 P.M.  Burial will be private.
