Ann Jones Guffie

Letha Ann Jones Guffie, 85, of Gastonia, died Tuesday, August 14 at her home.  She was born in Cherokee County, daughter of the late George and Floy Bell Jones.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thad Guffie; two brothers Robert and Eulas Jones.  Those left to cherish her memory include her children Eddie Guffie (Tammy), Dean Guffie (Tracie), Linda Roland (Alan), and Glenda Dubetsky (Lester); grandchildren Tim, Mindy, April, Brandon, Steven, and Ashley; great-grandchildren Ally, Deanna, Drew, Aiden, and Mason.  A service to celebrate her life will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 16 at Way of The Cross Baptist Church, 302 Lanier Avenue, Mt. Holly.  The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.  Burial will follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
