Archie Dewayne Richard

Archie Dewayne Richard, 40, of Gastonia, died Thursday, August 23 at his home.  He was born in Gaston County, son of Archie Wayne Richard and the late Elizabeth Ann Mitchem Isenhour. Those left to cherish his memory include his girlfriend Tink Willis; his grandfather who raised him, Alvin Mitchem; siblings Donna Taylor, Tonya Perkins, Sherry Richard (Richard Carver), Jimmy Isenhour; nieces and nephews Kenneth Brandon Cash, Kristen DeAnn Sadler, Destini Taylor, Chance Taylor, Melanie Fiestas, Nick Fiestas, Emma Perkins; and great nephew and great niece Braelyn and Lyric Sadler.  A service to celebrate his life will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 1 in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mt. Holly.  The family will receive friends from 2 to 4:00 prior to the service, also at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a humane  society of your choice or to No Kill animal shelter.
