Benjamin Max Jones

Benjamin Max Jones, born May 25, 1997, of Mt. Holly, went on to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 27, 2018. He graduated from Highland School of Technology in 2015 Magna Cum Laude.  He attended Appalachian State University and currently he was attending CPCC.  Max was a barista extraordinaire at Belmont Town Center Harris Teeter Starbucks.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Ben High and both paternal grandparents Hudson & Regis Jones.  He is survived by his parents Rick and Joan Jones; his maternal grandmother Carolyn High; his aunt Wendy High “dub” and cousin “sister” Gracie Devine; three other aunts and uncles; as well as many cousins and a very large community of friends.  Max had many accomplishments in his life other than being the life of the party in most situations. Max was the 2013 State of North Carolina yo-yo champion.  He was a self-taught magician. He was an active member of Chapel Baptist Church.  A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 6:00 pm, with visitation an hour and a half before at Grace Baptist Church, 300 Westland Farm Rd. Mt. Holly, NC 28120.  In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be sent to Chapel Baptist Church P.O. Box 942 Mt. Holly, NC 28120.
