Clarence Calvin DuBose, 71 went to be with the Lord on August 31st.  He was a loving father who helped many in their time of need.  Born in Clarendon county South Carolina he was the son of the late Louis Calvin DuBose and Eva Elizabeth White.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Lawrence Daniel DuBose and Louis David DuBose.  Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Carolyn,  Two children Lynn Church (Larry) Ray DuBose (Kathy) Two sisters Ann Hunter (Jimmy);  Grace Fowler (Mike), a brother Manley DuBose (Frankie) ;  A granddaughter Tara Renteria (Eric); A grandson Marc Fly (Anne), four great grandchildren; Haiden, Gabriel, Princess, and Elaina as well as many nieces and nephews.  A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday September 7th at 7:00 p.m in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.  The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 pm also at the funeral home.  Online condolence messages may be sent to www.woodlawnfuneral.org.  Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly is serving the DuBose family.
