Diane Edwards Harris

Diane Edwards Harris, 79, of Mount Holly, died Sunday, September 2 at her residence.  She was born in Gaston County.  Diane was preceded in death by her husband Ted Harris; mother Margie Sherrill; stepfather Tom Sherrill; and two brothers Alan Edwards and Dexter Sherrill.  Those left to cherish her memory include her children Robin Howard (Mike), Karen Harris, and Dale Harris (Jeanie); grandchildren Laura Brafford (Andrew), Kevin Howard, and Sara Harris; great-grandchildren Clay Brafford, Dana Brafford, and Anna Brafford.  A service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 6 at Tuckaseege Baptist Church, 511 Tuckaseege Road, Mount Holly.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 5 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, 258 E. Garrison Blvd, Gastonia, NC 28054 or to Tuckaseege Baptist Church.
