Doris Stilwell Mashburn

Doris Stilwell Mashburn age 81 of Stanley, N.C. passed away on Tuesday October 31st.  Mrs. Mashburn was born in Lincoln County, N.C.  Mrs. Mashburn was the daughter of the late Worth Odell Stilwell and Bertha Stowe Stilwell.  She is survived by her husband of 62 years Earnest William Mashburn, and four children, Jack Welch of Stanley, N.C.   Tony Mashburn of Denver, N.C.  Larry Mashburn and wife Debbie of Harrisburg, N.C.  Terry Mashburn and wife Kim of Stanley, N.C.  Brothers Dennis Stilwell and wife Pauline of Mount Holly, NC.  Raymond Stilwell and wife Lib of Goldsboro, N.C.  Sisters Libby McLaughlin of Stanley, NC. and Becky Mack and husband Steve of Denver, NC.  Mrs. Mashburn has 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  She was a life long member of Castanea Presbyterian Church in Stanley, N.C.   A graveside service to celebrate Mrs. Mashburn's life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday November 3rd. at the Castanea Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 14815 Lucia Riverbend Hwy. Stanley, N.C.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, N.C. 28092.  Condolence messages may be sent to woodlawnfuneral.org  Woodlawn Funeral Home Mount Holly N.C. is serving the family
