Edward Dean Ward

Edward "Eddie" Dean Ward, 61, of Stanley, passed away on October 31, 2019 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.  He was born in Gaston county, son of Patricia Ann Hoyle and the late Forrest “Red” Ward.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son Matthew Ward as well as two brothers Mike and Johnny Ward.  Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Teresa Ward; two children; Scott Medlin and his wife Kayla and Timothy Ward; two sisters; Schanda Ward and Teresa Mintz (Wayne); two brothers; Jeff and Hank Ward; and two grandchildren; Austin Medlin and Megan Wilson.  A service to celebrate Eddie’s life will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday November 2, 2019 in the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly with the Rev. Bobby Hildebrand officiating.
