Frances Pierce Richardson, 96, of Lincolnton, died Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Brian Center in Lincolnton. She was born in Hillsborough, New Hampshire to the late Clarence Warren Pierce and Ruth Carr Pierce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Richardson; a son Robert C. Harris; her sister, Carolyn Thomas; and a nephew Robert W. Thomas. Those left to cherish her memory include her children Frank Richardson and his wife Sandy, Steven Richardson and his wife Cindy, Richard "Dick" Harris and his wife Sue, George Harris and his wife Duanna; grandchildren Neal Richardson and his wife Hannah, Lauren Smith and her husband Clayton, Brian Richardson; one great granddaughter Savannah Richardson; nieces Ellen Thomas Avery and her husband Wayne, Carol Thomas Powers and her husband Dr. David Powers; grandnephews Hunter B. Avery and Rob Thomas; grandnieces Brooks Brady and Paige Frank. A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church, 133 S. Main Street in Mount Holly.The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will follow the service at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the hospice of your choice or to The Gideons International at www2.gideons.org/donate.
