Fred Hilton

Fred Earl Hilton, 74, of Alexis, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Sherrills Ford Hospice House.  He was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, son of the late James and Helen Hilton.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Arthur and Paul Hilton.  Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Mary; daughters Michelle Redding and her husband Chris and Melissa Small and her husband Joseph; grandchildren Brittany Howard, Christopher Redding, and Mallary and Zoey Small; one great grandchild Hayden Howard; and one sister Fran Burgess.  A graveside service officiated by Rev. Tim Small will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly.
