Jerry Dean (Dink) Peterson

Jerry Dean Peterson, 59, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019. He was born in Gaston County, son of the late Cletus Peterson and Leola Fender Peterson Brown. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Shirley McDaniel, Bobby Peterson and Allen Peterson.

He is survived by his fiance', Elizabeth Hope McNeilly; his children, Samantha Watkins (Brandon), Angela Pressley (Brian), and Becky Hegler (Scotty); his siblings, John Richard Peterson (Pat), Cletus Lee Peterson, and Willie Mae Propst; his grandchildren, Cameron Hegler, Jennifer Hegler, Desirae Walker, Christopher Watkins, Brayden Watkins, Tripp Pressley, Devon Pressley and Tristin Pressley; and special friends, Carl Messer (Debbie) and Roger Perkins, Sr.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the family in care of John Richard Peterson, 409 Woodlawn Avenue, Mount Holly, NC 28120.
