Jerry Wayne Joye

Jerry Wayne Joye, 70, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of James "Red" Joye and the late Edna Caskey Joye.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Viars Joye; his children, Rocky Pack (Jada) and Douglas Viars (Karen); his brother, Barry Joye; and 8 grandchildren.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Joye will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2019 at South Point United Methodist Church, Belmont. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from noon until 1:00 pm on Friday at the church.
