Joe Wayne Scott

Joe Wayne ("Uncle Joey") Scott, 63, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Joe Houston and Charlotte Green Scott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Gale Scott; two brothers, Kenneth G. Scott and Hugh D. Scott; and a special niece, Tammy Moise.

He is survived by two sisters, Janice S. Fisher and husband, Michael, and Diane S. Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Uncle Joey will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly with Reverend David McClure officiating.
