Kathy Gail Armstrong

Kathy Gail McAndrew Armstrong, 67, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late W.P. McAndrew and Shirley Ross McAndrew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Greene; and her siblings, Alan McAndrew, Tracy McAndrew and Cindy Holloway. She enjoyed watching and feeding birds and was a lover of all wildlife.

Ms. Armstrong is survived by her grandchildren, Alan Michael Greene (Dominique) and Miranda Greene; her great-grandson, Brantley; her long-time companion, David Conley; her siblings, Debra McAndrew Barnett (Gary), Ronald McAndrew (Lynn), Richard McAndrew (Debra) and Kim McAndrew (Judy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Armstrong will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2019 at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Susan G.
