Larry Clinton Kepley

Larry Clinton Kepley, 79, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018. He was born in Rowan County and was preceded in death by his parents Clinton Carl Kepley and Mildred Christine Plyler Kepley. Larry is a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired after working 33 years, as a postal clerk, with the U.S. Postal Service in Hickory, NC.

Larry is survived by his wife, Veneeda Mauney Kepley; his children, Toni Heath (Donald) and Gina Swiers (Kyle); his step-children, Marcus Bundy and Sam Bundy (Jacquelyn); his sister, Sylvia Osgood; his brother, Wayne Kepley (Linda); six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and special friend, Eric Mahaffey.

A service to celebrate Larry's life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice at 258 E. Garrsion Blvd, Gastonia.
