Lillian Irene (Anderson) Steele

Lillian Irene Steele, 77, of Stanley, died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at her residence.  Born in Tennessee a daughter of the late Ernest Anderson and Myrtle Sellers Anderson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Howard Steele, Sr.; a son James Howard Steele, Jr.; two brothers, and two sisters.  Mrs. Steele is survived by three children Constance Steele of Stanley, Danny Steele of Knoxville, TN, and Teresa Steele Teems and husband Terry of Gastonia; two grandchildren T.J. Teems and Brittany Teems; four great grandchildren Trevin Teems, Paisley Andre, Zoey and Raegan Teems; as well as one sister and four brothers.  A service to celebrate her life will be held at 12 Noon Monday, March 26 in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, also at the funeral home.
