Louise Burr Honbaier

Louise Burr Honbaier, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 19.  She was born in Anson County to the late Maude Yarbrough Burr and Thomas Eugene Burr.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Thomas Eugene Burr.  Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 63 years Jesse Ray Honbaier, Jr.; her children Stephen Wayne Honbaier and his wife Sandy and Ruby Diane Honbaier and her husband Eddie Belk; two grandchildren Stephen Honbaier II and his wife Jaime and Shree Wise and her husband Eric; two great grandchildren Riley Honbaier and Marin Wise; one step grandchild; seven step great grandchildren; two sisters Joyce Goodman and Virginia Alexander; and a sister in law Jacquie Burr.  A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 24 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 3717 Hickory Grove Road in Gastonia.  Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church beginning at 1:00 pm.
