Lynn Asbury Perkinson

Lynn Asbury Perkinson, 52, of Charlotte, passed away on Saturday, October 6th, following a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Lynn is survived by her mother Vicki Latimer and step father Ramsay G. Latimer of Pfafftown, North Carolina; husband of 25 years, David Perkinson; daughter Chloe Rose Perkinson; sister Christie Knapper and her husband Wade of Knoxville, Tennessee; brother Garrison Latimer of Columbus, Ohio; nephews Joel and Braden Knapper & niece Camryn Knapper.

Lynn was born on May 30th, 1966 in Rockingham County. She graduated from West Forsyth High School in 1984. In addition to getting her Cosmetology License, Lynn worked many years in Banking and more recently was employed by Childress Klein Properties before her health declined.

Lynn was an extremely creative person! She enjoyed painting and truly had a passion for collecting antiques! Tea parties were a favorite of Lynn’s! Lynn was an animal lover, providing a great home and much love to several cats and several cocker spaniels through the years!

Lynn was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She longed for the New World, where she could walk again and be fully healthy!

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 20th, at 2pm at the Mount Holly Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. 1736 Kelly Road, Mount Holly NC 28120.

Lynn will be truly missed!
