Martha Delia (Dellinger) Haggins

Martha Delia Dellinger Haggins, age 83 passed away Wednesday August 29 at her home.  Born in Gaston county she was the daughter of Frank A. Dellinger and Dixie Sisk Dellinger.  She was a devoted Christian who loved her entire family and was also a media member of SBN at the Jimmy Swaggert Ministries.   In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Curtis Haggins and a son James Benjamin “Benny” Haggins.  Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters Margie and Dixie Haggins; a sister Polly Bridges; a brother Paul D. Dellinger; Three grandsons Ricky Curtis Haggins, Jamie Setzer and his wife Mckenzie, and Robbie Setzer and his wife Beth; Five great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.  The family would like to give special thanks to Wayne and Kathy Dellinger as well as Carolyn and Louise for their love and support during her life.  A service to celebrate her life will be held at 3 pm on Sunday Spetember 2nd in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1 pm also at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care-Charlotte Region: PO box 470408 Charlotte, NC 28247.  Online condolence messages may be left at www.woodlawnfuneral.org.  Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly is serving the Haggins family.
