Mary Alice Sherer

Mary Alice Sherer of Gastonia died on October 11th. 2019 at the Stanley Total Living Center.  Ms. Sherer was born in the Lattimore community of Cleveland County.  Daughter of the late Henry Walker Sherer and Augusta Head Sherer.  Ms. Sherer is survived by a brother Charles Sherer and wife Betty, two nephews Robert Sherer (Suzan) of Abbeville S.C. and Gary Sherer (Melody) of Alexis.  Ms. Sherer is also survived by three great-nieces, one great-nephew, and numerous great- great niece’s and nephews.   A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date by the family.   Arrangements are in the care of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.  Online condolences may be left at www.woodlawnfuneral.org.
