Mary (Sparks) Wooten

Mary Sparks Wooten, 60, of Alexis, NC, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, she was the daughter of Beatrice Plain Sparks and the late Leslie Leroy Sparks. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Stanley.

A loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her mother; her husband of 40 years, John Wooten; her daughters, Mary Craig, Jennifer Hartness and Kimberly Wooten; her brothers, George and Jesse Sparks; and her grandchildren, Courtney and Austin Craig and Cameron and Addie Kale.
