Nancy Jolene (Shields) Redmond

Nancy Jolene Redmond, 75, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Testa Hospice House, Kings Mountain. She was a native of Gaston County, daughter of the late Hunter and Connie Burgin Shields. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Victor Redmond; a sister, Clara Lari; and a brother, Ronald Shields. Jolene was formerly employed in accounts payable with Pharr Yarns, McAdenville.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Michelle Redmond; daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Barry Goodson; and beloved grandchildren, Brittany and Hunter Redmond, Emma Goodson, and Lacey Messer; great-granddaughter, Sadie Messer; and special cousin, Becky Lane.

A graveside service to celebrate Jolene's life will be held at 12:45 pm on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 am until noon at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.
