Nancy Jane (Jordan) Smith

Nancy "Mawmaw" Jane Jordan Smith, 81, of Charlotte, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 at her home.  She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Perry Louie Jordan and Cynthia Ella Black Jordan.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jerry, and two sons Perry and Kenneth Smith.  Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters Cyndy Allen (Jimmy) of Mansfield, Texas, Phyllis Mangum (John) of Mount Holly; two honorary daughters Linda Cook and Nancy Troutman both of Charlotte; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.  A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region, P.O.
