Nester Michael Duke

Nester Michael Duke, 74, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at his home. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Eddie Lee Duke and Jewel Elliott Duke Martin. 

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Phyllis Kerley Duke; his children, Todd Duke, Brandon Duke, and Belinda Duke Eller (Zeke); his grandchildren, Michael Hunter Duke and Cody Alan Duke; and his aunt, Lois Farmer.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Duke will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. Roger Edwards will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
