Pamela Jean Meadows Williams, 65, of Gastonia, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 1, 2018. She was born in Richlands, Virginia to the late Arnold Brittain Meadows and Wilma Jean Lankford Meadows. Those left to cherish her memory include her children Paul "P.J." Williams and his wife Denise, Ivory Dwayne Williams and his wife Janyce, and Christy Williams Thompson and her husband Sammy; grandchildren Christopher Williams and his wife Julie, Savanah Williams Gideon and her husband Preston, Megan Williams, Marisa Thompson, Audrey Williams, Alisa Thompson, and Dacey Williams; as well as nine siblings. A service to celebrate her life will be held 3:00 pm Thursday, January 4, 2018 in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly officiated by Rev. Vernon Cope. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, January 3, 2018 also at the funeral home.
