Ray Edward Hall

Ray Edward Hall, 82, died Sunday, September 23, 2018 at his residence.  He was born in Gaston County to the late Alice Gray and Hiram J. Hall.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Frankie Carr Hall.  Ray was retired from the Mount Holly branch of the US Postal Service as a postman.  He had a love for flowers, yardwork and gardening.  Those left to cherish his memory include his children Cindy Bynum and her husband Tim of Mount Holly, and Angie Hall of Georgia; a brother Robert Hall of Gastonia; two sisters Betty Cagle of Mount Holly, and Retha Melton and her husband John of Mount Holly; five grandchildren Alice Bynum Helms and her husband Aaron, Christy Bynum Baucom and her husband Preston, Donnie Harris, Josh Harris and his wife Lacey, and Miranda Cassell Dey and her husband Brad; as well as 11 great grandchildren.  At Ray’s request, a private graveside service will be held.
