Ray Lambert Jr. Obituary

Ray Allen Lambert Jr., 63, of Gastonia passed away on June 17th. He was born in Mecklenburg county to Ray Allen Lambert Sr. and Eula Ellen Lambert. In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his wife Babbie Lambert; his three children, Heather Rice (Scott), Michael Lambert (Crystal) and Amanda Lambert; five grandchildren; Austin Rice, Hunter Rice, Tanner Lambert, Emma Lambert, and Callie Lambert. He was an avid fisherman who worked as an auctioneer, welder and as a preacher in the Free Will Baptist Association. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:00 p.m on Tuesday June 19th at Springwood Freewill Baptist Church; 826 Stanley Spencer Mountain Rd. Gastonia, NC 28056. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service also at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Freewill Baptist Church of Clover youth fund; 308 Valley Ave. Clover, SC 29710. Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly is serving the family.
