Robert (Buster) Furr, 57, died July 4, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. He was born in Stanly County, NC, son of the late Roy Lee and Betty Furr Tucker. He was employed with Carolina Paperboard, attended West Mecklenburg High School and was a member of Long Creek Masonic Lodge #205 in Huntersville.

Survivors include his wife Sandra Moore Furr, a brother Randy Tucker and wife Kim, and his beloved pets Harley and Macy.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday July 7, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, 617 Bethel Church Road, Locust, NC with Reverend Joe Moore and Reverend Mrs. Stella B. Moore officiating. Masonic Rites will be conducted by members of the Long Creek Masonic Lodge. The casket will be open for public viewing at the cemetery from 12:30 – 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
