Robert Clayton Scott "Bob"

Robert Clayton Scott "Bob", 88, of Mount Holly, died Thursday, February 22 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.  He was born in Saltville, Va to the late James A. and Georgia G. Scott.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Jim Scott.  Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Evelyn Carrier Scott; two children Mark Timothy Scott and wife Lorinda, and Russell Blake Scott and wife Sherry; a sister Betty Jo Carrier; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.  The family would like to thank Bob's granddaughter Christy Reid for the special care she gave him.  Visitation with family and friends will begin at 1:00 pm Monday, February 26 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.  A private family service will be held immediately following the visitation at 2:00 pm.   Private entombment will follow the service at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, 258 E. Garrison Blvd Gastonia, NC 28054.
