Ruby Elise Long

Ruby Elise Long, 94, of Gastonia, died Wednesday, June 20 at the Brian Center in Gastonia. She was born in Lincoln County to the late Ella Lippard and Oliver Forney Long.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Norman and Bradford Long.  Those left to cherish her memory include her children June Boyles and her husband Don and Floyd C. Long, Jr.; 10 grandchildren, and a host of great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Friday, June 22 at Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont.
