Steven Carrillo Garcia

Steven Carrillo Garcia, 64, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of Claudette Rebecca Miller Kiker and the late Sylvester Alberto Carrillo Garcia. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Garcia. Steven was a U.S. Army Veteran.

He is survived by his daughters, Sonia Garcia Caulder and Montae Wooten and her husband, Matt; his sisters, Vida Garcia Lear and Wanda MacCleary and her husband, Jerry; grandchildren, Lacey Garcia, Brae Wooten, Alexis Wooten and Noah Caulder; his nephew and numerous nieces.

A service to celebrate Steven's life will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help to defray funeral expenses.
