Tonya Barker Obituary

Tonya Harrison Barker, age 52, of Supply, passed away at her residence Friday, June 1, 2018.  She was born August 12, 1965 in Gaston County to Ronald Harrison, Sr. and the late Brenda Harrison.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister Joyce Doreen Harrison.  Tonya was a believer of Jesus Christ, loved her husband, family, friends, and had a heart of gold.  Left to cherish her memory are her husband Reggie Barker, her daughter Misty Dunn and husband Joshua; son Chris Barker and wife Tonya; sister Felicia Scruggs and husband Jimmy; brothers Ronnie Harrison, Jr. and wife Paula, Scott Harrison and Phillip Harrison and wife Nancy; five grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.  A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, June 7 at Goshen Free Will Baptist Church, 1300 West Catawba Avenue in Mount Holly officiated by the Rev. Dr. Clayton E. Burch.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm, also at the church.  Arrangements are in the care of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.  Online condolences may be left at www.woodlawnfuneral.org.
