Alan Benjamin Davis of Mount Holly, NC passed away at the age of 28 on Friday, December 24, 2021. He was a kind, gentle spirit who leaves behind two parents, Randy and Karen Davis of Mount Holly, who love him more than words can express. He also leaves behind his brother, Bryan, of Matthews and his sister, Emily Davis Alexander (Landon) of Johnson City, TN. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa, Fred Harman, and Grandmother, Barbara Kennedy. Additional survivors include his Grammy, Judy Harman; Aunts Pepina Harman, Carmen Isenhower, Susan Harman, Jill Smith; Uncles Bob McRee, Ed Harman, Randy Isenhower, Brian Smith; Cousins Charlotte (Isenhower) & Keith Maglinger, Whitney Isenhower, Kaitlyn (Wilkinson) & Philip Lindler, and Conner Smith. Ben was known for his dedicated friendship, enormous heart, sense of humor, and love of music. He enjoyed telling jokes, writing poetry, playing his guitar, and playing video games with his friends. He was proud of his degree in Computer Application Programming from Gaston College, as was his family. Ben was courageous as he addressed his emotional struggles. He fought the good fight and persevered as best he could. His family encourages anyone reading this that they seek help and do not try to endure it alone. Pleasant United Methodist Church Backpack for Kids Program (2717 Dallas Stanley Hwy, Stanley, NC 28164. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2021 at Common Ground, 5481 Hickory Grove Rd, Stanley, NC 28164; 1:00 PM Receiving of Friends; 2:00 PM Funeral Service.
