Albert Lawson Briggs, Sr.

Albert Lawson Briggs, Sr., 87, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025. He was born in Duncan, SC, son of the late Lawrence Lawson Briggs and Annie Powell Briggs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jane Hall Briggs; and his daughter, Angela Pettus. Mr. Briggs was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran.

Mr. Briggs is survived by his children, Tracy Jones (Drew), John Gregory Briggs (Wendy), and Albert Lawson Briggs, Jr. (Laura); six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his sisters, Renee Compton and Patty Briggs.
