Anita Garmon Turbeville, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Jimmy Ronald Garmon and Martha Grant Garmon.
Mrs. Turbeville is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert Earl Turbeville, her children, Amber Helms (Tony), Bobbie Boyce (Jamie), and Shelia Serafini (Phillip); her grandchildren, Austin Helms (Amber), Colbey Helms (Sam), Logan Boyce, Lucas Boyce, Avery Serafini, and Jeremiah Allen; her great-grandchildren, Esmae, Evelyn, and Lillian; her siblings, Robin Shell (Ronnie), Larry Garmon, Ricky Garmon, and Lisa Kimberlin; a number of nieces; and a nephew.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Turbeville will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2025, at New Vision Foursquare Church, 8312 Mount Holly Rd., Charlotte, NC 28214.
