Ann (Rollins) Smith

 Ann Rollins Smith, 79, of Stanley, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 30, 2022.  She was born in Mecklenburg County to the late Thomas Franklin Rollins, Sr. and Ollie Mae Dorton Rollins.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Freddie Clifford Smith; brother, Thomas Franklin Rollins Jr; and two sons-in-law, Johnnie Lyn Ward and Ronald Reeves McAllister.  Ann, along with her first husband Freddie, were the owners of McSmith Auction Service for nearly 30 years in Charlotte.  Those left to cherish Ann's memory include her husband, Richard Seibert, Sr.; her daughters, Lucretia Smith Ward and Phyllis McAllister Withers and her husband, Tracy; her brother, William Reid Rollins; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.  The family will hold a memorial service followed by a Celebration of Life gathering with refreshments, on Sunday, September 4 at 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 512 Old Mt Holly Road, Stanley.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church School Kits at the following link: https://.fpcstanley.churchcenter.com/giving/to/school-kits. Arrangements are in the care of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.
