Anna Marie Orren

Anna Marie Orren, 42, of Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025. Born on July 29, 1982, Anna was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She never met a stranger and was known for her warm, friendly spirit and the deep love she had for her family and community.

Anna was a graduate of North Gaston High School and a former employee of Gaston Skills. Her kindness, laughter, and compassion touched countless lives, and she will be remembered for the joy she brought to every room she entered.

She is survived by her loving mother, Julia Dover, and stepfather Ronnie Dover; her father, Kyle Orren, and his wife Sandy Orren; her brothers, Jonathan Orren, Dalton Orren, and Robert Riley; a loving fiance' Dean Whitledge; two cherished nieces and two nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Second Baptist Church in Mount Holly- 740 Rankin Ave. Mt Holly, NC 28120.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Second Baptist Church in Mt. Holly, followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery.

Anna's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
