Barbara (Ramsey) Jenkins

Barbara Ramsey Jenkins, 65, transitioned to Heaven on Saturday, May 28, 2022, with her family and friends by her side. She was born in Cleveland County, daughter of Eugene Weldon Ramsey and Dorothy Rowland Ramsey. Ms. Jenkins was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rev. L.E. and Gracie Ramsey, and Ed "Poppy" and Ruth Rowland; and her nephew, Daniel Allen Wyatt.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Jenkins is survived by her siblings, Sandra Mayberry (her 1st best friend), Donna Payne (Roger), Theresa Ramsey, Allison Ramsey (Brooklynn), Randy Ramsey (Shannon), and Moose Ramsey (Teri); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and a great niece whom she loved dearly, Ariel Ramsey.

A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Jenkins will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Chapel Grove Church of God, 4639 Chapel Grove School Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052. Pastor Jody Freeman will officiate. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
