Barbara (Luckey) Lawing

Barbara Anne (Luckey) Lawing passed away on December 9, 2024 at the age of 75. She was a native and resident of Mount Holly. She is survived by her husband and best friend Bobby, and her three children Mickey Stowe Jr., Dana Stowe, and Allison Aros, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, and two step daughters who loved Barbara very much Angie Lawing Bennett and Melody Lawing Love.

Barbara was known for her kind heart and faith in Jesus Christ. She was the heart and soul of our family, and she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Willine Luckey.

The family will greet guests on Friday December 13th from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 2727 Mount Holly-Huntersville Road, with a funeral service to follow with Reverend Jack Homesley officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be sent to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund or a charity of your choosing.
