Barbara Ann McLemore

Barbara Ann McLemore ,74, passed away at Caromont Regional Medical Center on June 1, 2024. Barbara was born in Mecklenburg Co. to the late Elbert and Mary Frances Cope on July 18, 1949. She lived in Lowell, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Willie Joe, daughter Melanie McLemore, and brother Donnie Cope.
Barbara retired from RL Stowe Mills were she spent over 30 years dedicated to her job. She loved to travel. She loved camping at Ocean Lakes Campground and spending time with her family at the beach. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids. She enjoyed riding  the golf cart around the campground during her visits and loved looking at the sites. She had enjoyed a wonderful vacation last week with her family in her favorite spot. She was an avid animal lover. 
Those left to cherish her memory include her three children,Tammy Adkins(Bryon),Wendy Martin(Mickey), and Chris McLemore(Crystal).Her Grandchildren Kayla Elliott (Joe), Jordan McLemore(Emily) and Heather Eudy. Her great grands Braylon Eudy, Paisley Eudy, Ellie McLemore, Hadleigh McLemore, Reagan Elliott and Emersyn Elliott. Her siblings Carl, Mike, and Tony Cope.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at The Chapel of Woodlawn  from 11:30 am-12:30 pm. The family will have a private graveside service at Hillcrest Gardens officiated by Pastor Jeff Johnson. Woodlawn will be caring for the family of Mrs. McLemore.
