Barbara June (Plyler) O'Donohue

Barbara Plyler O'Donohue, 91, passed peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Autumn Care of Marshville in Marshville, NC. She was born in Union County, NC to the late Odell and Edith (Mangum) Plyler on December 22, 1934.

Barbara was the loving wife of John O'Donohue, Jr., and mother to Johnny O'Donohue, both preceding her in death. Also, preceding her in death, one sister, Diane Griffith; three brother, Fred Plyler, Ben Plyler, and David Plyler; sister-in-law, Gale Plyler; and brother-in-law, Michael Mosley.

Barbara is survived by a sister, Mary P. Mosley; brother, Ron Plyler; and brother-in-law, Barney Griffith; and many nieces and nephews. Barbara was a member of Park Street United Methodist Church in Belmont.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Greenwood Cemetery, Belmont. Pastor David Hiatt will officiate.
