Barbara (Sis) Shook Spencer, 74, went to her Heavenly home on Friday, January 24, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Ralph Shook and Shirley Wilson Shook.
A loving mother, grandmother, and sister, Ms. Spencer is survived by her daughter, Dawn Millsaps (Chad); her grandson, Tyler Dellinger (Brandi); her great-grandson, Lawson Dellinger; her sister, Ann Allen (Ed); her nephew, Craig Graves; her great-nephews, Jonathan and Austin; her great-niece, Vivian; and her best friend, Sis Conner.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Ms. Spencer will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly.
