Betty (Hudspeth) Beaty

Betty Jean Hudspeth Beaty, 62, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Phillip Hudspeth and Jean Christopher Hudspeth.

A loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Beaty is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Scott Beaty, Sr.; her children, Cindy Polson (David), Jeffrey Scott Beaty, Jr. (Lindsey), and Tyler Beaty (Reagan); her grandchildren, Ashley, Anthony, Addison, Layla; her siblings, Butch, Spanky, Joyce, Johnny, Billy, & Steven; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She spent all of her time loving and caring for her family and friends. She loved going to yard sales, Dollar Tree, and flea markets. She loved her cat and overfeeding it! She loved her birds and watching them eat with the squirrels. She was all around loved by everyone.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Beaty will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. The family will greet guests from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
