Betty (Webb) Plemmons

Betty Webb Plemmons, 85, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021. She was born in Jackson County, daughter of the late Arthur and Elsie Bryson Webb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Brown; and her brother, Clyde Webb. Mrs. Plemmons graduated from Cullowhee High School, retired from NAPA, and was a very active member of Catawba Heights Baptist Church.

Mrs. Plemmons is survived by her children, Diane Reese and husband, David, Danny Plemmons and wife, Vicki, Deborah Ledford and husband, Mickey, and Donna Losey and husband, Earl; her sisters, Barbara Jean Mauldin and husband, Tony, Ann Lou Nelon and husband, Bob, and Wanda McCall and husband, Russell; her grandchildren, Angela Devern and husband, Cid, Jamie Lamberth and wife, Bobbie, Machelle Ledford, Joshua Ledford and wife, Tiffany, Brook Blackburn, and Zachary Ayala; 7 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID concerns, family services and burial will be private. Mrs. Plemmons will lie in repose at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 16, 2021 for the public.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Catawba Heights Baptist Church, 311 Belmont-Mount Holly Road, Belmont NC 28012.
