Betty Bradley Wright, age 82, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 1, 2025. She was born in Inman, SC, daughter of the late William Bradley and Mary Mathis Rucker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Charles Wright, as well as her son Darryl Wright, and daughter Angela Wright.
Betty's joy in life came from spending time with her family who will miss her dearly.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children Michael Wright (Angela), Tammy Pearson (Colon), and Stephen Wright (Cristi); her sister Tammy Suttles; her grandchildren: Jennifer Parton, Christopher Wright, Sharon Wray (Jason), Dylan Smith, and Dalton Smith, as well as 9 great grandchildren and many other extended family members.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday February 5, 2025 in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in mount Holly with Pastor Rodney Alexander officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday also at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont.
