Billy Ray Dixon

Billy Dixon, age 36, passed away on September 15, 2022 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House.  He was born in Gaston County and was the son of David and Tammy Dixon.  He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Harold Sr. and Hiley Dixon, and his maternal grandfather James Messer, and two uncles Wayne Goude, and Roger Dixon.  Billy was a proud father who adored his children.  He loved life and always put his family before anything.  Billy was very excited to hear that he was a new grandfather to his daughter Kayla's puppy Anastasia that she got on her birthday.  This is not goodbye but see you later  In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children: Kayla, Brianna, and Ryder Dixon; his brother Jason Dixon (Holly), his grandmother Willie Messer; his Uncles: Ronald Dixon (Cindy), Larry Messer (Leah), Carl Messer (Debbie), Royce Messer (Shirley), Harold Dixon Jr. (Debbie), Jeff Dixon, and Dennis Dixon (Debbie) his aunt's Barbara Wylie (Jerry), Wilma Goude, Kathy Chewning (Randy), and Sarah Martin (David),; his nephews Austin and Daylan Dixon, and his niece Lilly Dixon, as well as numerous cousins.  A memorial service to celebrate Billy's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Maranatha Baptist Church, 104 Downey Lake Road, Dallas, North Carolina.
