Billy Wade Keeter

Billy Wade Keeter peacefully passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to William "Pop" Keeter and the late Janice Keeter. In addition to his mother, Billy is preceded in death by his first wife, Lorie Ann Keeter.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Nancy "Bootle" Keeter; his father, William "Pop" Keeter (Kaye Proctor); his son, Brandon Keeter (LeAnn); his daughter, Shannon Keeter (Mark Mays); Nancy's son's, Kelly Morris and Kevin Morris (Beth); his father-in-law, Max Davis; his grandchildren, Nathanial Morris, Marlee Keeter, and Lorie Ann Keeter; his brother, Terry Keeter (Tammy); his brother-in-law, Bryan Davis (Monica); his sister-in-law, Linda Davis; and numerous nephews.

Billy previously worked for Metrolina Builders and was a project superintendent. He could build anything, loved dirt bikes, and any type of tool.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Keeter will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Burial will be private. The family of Mr. Keeter will greet guests at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
