Billy Joe Noles

Billy Joe Noles, who peacefully departed this life with his only son Calton by his side on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, at the age of 91. Bill was a resident of Stanley, North Carolina. Born on Wednesday, December 5th, 1934, in North Carolina. He was the beloved son of the late Carl Alexander Noles and Mary Elizabeth Noles. Billy was also preceded in death by his devoted wife, Annette Handsel Noles, his two brothers, Elbert and Andrew Noles, and five sisters: Martha Watts, Frances Noles, Marie Sitton, Virginia Earle, and Katherine Walters.

Bill dedicated much of his life to his career as a Maintenance Supervisor at Duke Energy, where his commitment and work ethic left a lasting impression. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bill served his country with pride in the United States Air Force, embodying the values of honor and integrity throughout his service.

His memories will continue through his son, Carlton Handsel Noles, and his cherished grandson, Boyce Austin Noles.
