Brenda Sue (Francis) Burgess

Brenda Sue Francis Burgess,76, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020. A native of Gaston County, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Jefferson Francis and Geneva Christenbury Francis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters.

Survivors include her sons, John William Burgess, and David Gerald Burgess and his wife, Marci Neil Burgess; grandsons, Zach Burgess, Cody Burgess and fiance', Chelsea Cole, and Matthew Burgess; niece, Tonya Bolding and husband, Jerry, and nephews, Mark Lane and his wife, Tonda, and Doodle Rhyne and his wife, Sissy.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Burgess will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Woodlawn Chapel.
