Brooks Schmit

Brooks Schmit, 67, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021. She was born in St. Mary's Parish, LA, daughter of Marjorie Coleman Brooks and the late Oliver Dean Brooks.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Schmit is survived by her husband of 32 years, Daniel Joseph Schmit; her sister, Shana Elaine Brooks and husband, Gary Lee Heier, Jr.; her nieces, Briana Deane Sinclair-Mendonza and husband, Matias, and Carly James Sinclair-Brindley and husband, Nicholas; her great-niece, Olivia Brindley; and her great-nephews, Samuel and Noah Mendonza.

Services for Mrs. Schmit will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Levine Children's Hospital, c/o Atrium Health Foundation, 208 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203.
